Privacy Policy
Effective 11 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data THWorks collects when you use this website, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the rights you have over it. It applies to thworks.org and to the assistant and enquiry forms on it.
In short
- We collect what you send us — chat messages, and your name and email if you choose to share them.
- We use it to reply to you, follow up on your enquiry, keep the site secure, and understand how the site is used.
- Analytics cookies load only if you accept them. Decline, and none are set.
- We do not sell your data. You can ask us to access or delete it at any time.

| Your name and email, if you provide them | To follow up on your enquiry and reach you with the answer you asked for | Kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up |
| Technical data (IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed) | To operate the site, keep it secure, and diagnose faults | Retained in server logs for a short period |
| Analytics data — only if you accept cookies | To measure how the site is used so we can improve it | Retained by our analytics provider per its standard settings |
Who we are
THWorks is an engineering studio based in Bengaluru, India. For the purposes of data-protection law, THWorks is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Our registered address is HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560008, India. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at contact@thworks.org.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you message the assistant or submit an enquiry, we collect the contents of your message and any details you choose to include — typically your name and email address if you provide them so we can respond.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect technical data such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you view. Where you have accepted cookies, our analytics provider also records how you use the site.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information — payment card numbers, bank details, government identity numbers or passwords. Please do not send these through the assistant or the forms.
How we use your information
We use the information above to respond to your messages and enquiries, to follow up on a request you have made, to operate and secure the website, to diagnose problems, and — where you have consented — to understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Our legal bases
Where the UK/EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following legal bases: your consent (for analytics cookies, which you can withdraw at any time); our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, securing the site and improving it; and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Where India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act applies, we process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you contact us, and for the legitimate uses that Act permits.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data or share it for others’ marketing. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website and respond to you, and only so far as each needs to perform its function. These fall into the following categories:
Hosting and infrastructure providers that run this website and store its data; an artificial-intelligence provider that generates the assistant’s responses from the messages you send; tools we use to record and process the enquiries you send us; and, where you have accepted cookies, an analytics provider.
Some of these providers operate outside India, including in the United States. Where your data is transferred internationally, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer for such transfers.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it. Messages you send the assistant are held briefly to keep your conversation coherent and are then discarded. Enquiry details, including your name and email, are kept only for as long as necessary to respond to you and follow up on your request, and are deleted sooner on request.
Server logs and analytics data are retained for a short period and then removed or aggregated.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal data: to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw a consent you have given. Exercising these rights is free and we will respond within the time the law allows.
To make a request, email contact@thworks.org. If you are in the UK or EU and believe we have not handled your data properly, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority; in India, you may raise a grievance with us and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board.
How we protect your data
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work with reputable providers and limit access to what is necessary.
Children
This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make a material change, we will update the effective date at the top of this page, and — where the change affects how we use cookies — ask for your consent again.
